Brian J. Czaja was born in Buffalo, New York. His love of drawing, painting and creating led him to a career in architecture and the arts. A graduate of the School of Architecture at Syracuse University. he then spent two years in the Masters Program at the University of Bristol in England. Returning to the United States, he received his architectural license, and was a principal of a firm in Buffalo, New York, for over 25 years.
During this time, Brian’s interest in auto racing led him to design several tracks and to be the promoter of the Niagara Grand Prix. After moving to Arizona in 1997, painting once again became a focus of his interest, with the beauty of the Southwest influencing his work. Brian’s artwork explores the structure and space found in nature and the man-made environment. “To see and capture the spirit of a place are the goals of my work.”
